I bought some Sperry Gold Cup boat shoes for my new casual shoes. So far I'm very impressed.

Lol. It’s actually “nubuck” leather

I buy Sperrys two pairs at a time - I know I’ll wear out one rather quickly. I had special shoes when I raced sailboats, but casual cruising, Sperry is the best.

These are definitely just cruising shoes. I had Sperry branded shoes when I raced though.

Mine were Harken brand. And what did you race? I did J24s and J80s and the odd J105.

E boats, just casually.

I haven’t bought any sperrys yet because I find it hard to justify the price tag when I can keep buying Sambas at 55 a pop.

Used to race J22s on occasion but I usually just went barefoot.

Yep. These were a treat for sure

22 is a great boat - a bit faster than a 24 if rigged correctly.

I bought some new house slippers today. I always get cold toes, even in the middle of summer. I have fine blood flow to them. They warm and comfy.

Nice. My slippers smell like the Somme
